Hi Guys,

I hope to find you and all of you Families in good health.

Here I have posted pictures of the Tang, thanks to the very helpfull and Knowledgeable member of your forum, DAMAST, he has confirmed to me that this is not a Paul Dinger,as the marking are all wrong and this could be made in India.

Very interesting piece and more than a little scary. In you earlier photo of the tang, it looked a little "butchered." These tangs were usually ground to some extent to accomodate grip fit. However, real ones are neatly and evenly ground as a rule, as you would expect from a true master. Without examining the tang, this blade could be very convincing to many.

It was on Ebay for a couple days, and has now disappeared without a trace.

How much had the bidding got to?

If you want to criticise someone first walk a mile in their shoes. Then, when they come after you, you'll be a mile ahead and they'll be barefoot.
