Looks like an RZM that has been used as a Luftschutz. I think this is a good one. If others concur, it is a rare bird indeed.

I agree Mike a legit SS RZM that has had its original liner removed. I am sceptical as to whether that Luftschutz decal is original but that shell in itself is a nice score.

yes the liner was once replaced, there should normally be the 3 padded liner go in. But at the end of the war everything was used.

i agree that the helmet's original, & a rare bird, just a pity there's so much rust.the decal-i'm very sceptical about, especially how it's in good condition compared with the shell, plus the placing of the scratches which conveniently erase the areas which would confirm authenticity. Bill
