Here is my latest, with virtually no signs of it ever being worn. The grip eagle still displays all of its feathering to the breast area which is normally the first area to be rubbed. Blade is flawless. What do you think Pat, brothers?. Definately related i.m.o. Smile.

Both the blade and grip are absolutely magnificent. If I could ask - what source led to your find ?

Eye candy for the brown side! Didn't Pat recently get one in similar condition? Or is it the same one that changed hands?. Smile

Mike,
This one suprisingly came off EBAY. It was posted with " open to offers" comment on the listing. I was lucky enough to make the highest offer within the first 30 secs of it appearing.
Thanks for the comments chaps, the pictures are totally unedited ( I had an e-mail asking if I had used my photoshop skills Smile ), screws / nut are un-turned, ball is undented. There was slight traces of old grease on the blade when it turned up and the fit into scabbard is the tightest I have ever seen. Unfortunately my photography skills dont show the true graining to the grip.
Mark, can I ask if you treat your blades / scabbard prior to storage, do you clean when you recieve a new item,
Mnay thanks

Degens, when I get them, I immediately take them out of the scabbard and never put them back in...to prevent runner marks and wear. I very gently simichrome the blades and then Renwax all of the dagger, grip, scabbard, crossguards and blade. Once a year I do it all over again.

You have a real beauty there.

Mark... if you do that to your daggers once a year it must take you until June to finish. Big Grin

That is a great score my friend. I don`t have an SA yet & will one day pick up the right piece.

That would have done nicely Smile Congrats on a fine example!

Wonderful dagger, congratulations Degens!

Did you really buy it on Ebay?

Greetings,
