hi,it does look good but i believe that its a repro as i have 2 822/38s and the markings look different but that may just be a varient??but the biggest red flag for me is the THICKNESS of the buckle....I believe it is a cast fake, and the alu is very dull..but im no expert so any other opinions??best regards Andreas

One of the three original distinct Types of this buckle. The "dull" look is due to the buckle been in its "factory leaving" condition (aka. covered with all its dull silver paint as requested by SS regulations). The aluminum is showing a shiny look when this paint is gone. Fakes of that Type have a more gray tint and different surface finish.
