Can anyone of the experts give a opinion of this M40 DD police helmet which is offered at a auction-side?

I'm not into police-decals.

The bordered decal gives me a bad feeling with the strange bent on top of the decal.

Just curious.

I think its fine, just a glich in application...might not have released properly off the backing paper.

Agree with Robert. Good decal, poorly applied.

The helmet is fine. As a matter of fact, it was part of my collection at one time.

Thanks for the opinions.
I'd my doubts on the bent in the border on top of the decal. This helmet has a great look but
I'm intended to buy a very nice WH M35 DD ,otherwise this policehelmet could be purchased by me.
Wish I had the cash for buying both !

Thanks again

Indeed Marc, it's a small world for us collectors. There is always a link.

But.. for the helmets it is a very big world. They travel from continent to continent, from collector to collector.
They show up everywhere.
Quite amazing !!
