This is a Hungarian shell that has been painted black and relinered. Not worth too much I'm afraid.

Were these used post-war as fire helmets or something? That is the post-WWII style Hungarian liner.
A friend bought a Berndorfer with the same type of black paint. I told him to sand blast it and repaint it. This paint may look good when its real and on an SS helmet, but it ruins the lines of the Berndorfer and this Hungarian helmet.
