Hello Putting SS helmet on to a high shelf in my new house wasn't a good idea,it fell and hit me on the eyebrow and a lot of blood emerged,we have to be carefull with heavy items especially if there are young children in the house,my collection is now behind closed doors. Ian

The SS has ways of dealing with you...some of them rather unpleasant.

I never realized SS helmets were heavier than any other Wehrmacht helmet until now... I will watch for that.. Glenn
