Howdy all, i was wondering has anyone else seen an E-Pack 542 leopard head sword with the eagle facing to the right? or is this another model? I have used a picture from Lakesidetrader to demonstrate the difference.

For intents and purposes, I think they are both 542s. Minor variations are common amoungst TR era army sabers. For example, I have a Wrangel, with a bird who faces to the left, as opposed to the more commonly seen right. This saber also has a blued rather than a painted scabbard.

No I havn't. Out of all the TR era officer/NCO sabers I have, only that Eickhorn has the blued scabbard. We've discussed it in the past and other members have discussed thier sabers with the scabbard which is blue.
