Been playing with my camera today..

so i thought id's do a few pics and post.

Picked this up years ago, looks like it was altered for probable late Fire service issue Mad Unless you know of some special SS unit Big Grin

Has a really nice black finish, would look stunning if polished up.

A nice completely original RZM issue SS helmet...congrats. It has definitely been late-war modified for the civil Fire Protection Police in my humble opinion. Many of these helmets were reworked and issued to other organizations such as the Luftschutz, etc. Cool piece.

Cheers,

Darryl

Really interesting, glad you posted it.
What is the saying? Three degrees of seperation?
Ultimately, these kind of helmets end up in a small circle. Kind of nice to see/hear it go the distance.

Magnificent example of an reissue RZM, you are fortunate to have one of this compleat, I have been looking for an RZM compleat and in good shape at a reasonable price for years with no luck, have to conform myself with a RZM helmet with no liner and refinished, it's the only one I have found!!!!

Againg great pieces of headgear in your collection.

All the best,
Federico
