Hi guys,
Recently, I ran across this SA dagger by Paul Seilheimer. Is this an original piece? Although I'm not really into daggers, I don't recall ever seeing an RZM off-set to the left like this one is. Your opinions would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you do a search on this forum under M7/1/38 you will see that this has been brought up before. I think that it is considered to be a genuine TR period mark so not to worry. Also, isn't that the RZM code for Christianswerk?

Denny, "38" is the year, "1" is the maker, like RevYJ said, Christianwerk. Attached is a pic of this style RZM mark used by Eduard Wustof. Regards, Leipzig

Hi Denny,

Here is one I had for sale recently. I was a bit wary also but it is quite correct .
Thanks , Wendy

Thank you for your help. I haven't collected daggers per se, since the early 1970's and wasn't sure on this one. I knew I could count on getting a fast answer here.
