Here's the only dagger that I was able to find among the one's that had written down on my shopping list. Wink
The condition of this early SS EM is superb and at least 50% of the scabbard's lacquer is still present. The grip is perfect with no chips or cracks and the blade is just amazing.
You can see all of the crossgrains and the tight fit.

I'm very happy to have found this jewel. Big Grin

My understanding is that you don't come across E-Pack SS daggers too often. In that condition, they are even rarer. Nice score, to say the least. Cool

Thank you guys !
Bob, hope we will have more time to talk at the SOS show.
Scott, I have searched at every table and the SS daggers were plentiful but not in that condition. Brian Madearer, Johnson and Wittman had no daggers in that condition.
There were actually only 2 persons that had minty daggers, Bill Given but they were all RZM and Jason Burmeister but he had no E.Pack and that's the maker marked that I was looking for in the first place.

I also paid well below retail when comparing the prices from the big dealers.
I bought this dagger from a young man ( no more than 25 years old ) that I had never seen before at the show or on any forum.

Stephane, you're right, Packs are much more uncommon than Herder, Klass or Eickhorn and they usually sell at a premium price, just like the Bokers do.

Pat i guess you were very very lucky to find this young man selling this minty E.Pack at well below market/dealer prices & the best of the Max bunch too Cool
Cheers Scott.

Thats a beauty, looks to me the original owner must of gotten promoted and received a chained SS and took this dagger and kept it in his sock drawer. Very well preserved state of perfection.

Packs are the best IMO and seem to hold up better over time.
