thanks for your oppinion RICK.!the liner and chinstrap are replaced later. i got only 1 reply? why? bad pictures? it is not an SS helmet? i am not frome USA.? the helmet is so common? no one really sure its authenticy? i have posted too much in the past? this is my private thoughts on the forum, this is not meant to offend anyone, greetings frome snowy norway. erik

Hello Erik,
Nice fresh coloured helmet. First pattern LW eagle looks ok to me. Nat. colour shield looks like it is somehow heated/melted. (maybe the close-up pics of the Nat. shield do no justice to it.)

Looks good to me too, Erik. I think things have been quiet on this forum as many have been in preparation for the SOS. Back to the helmet, since it has a Norwegian liner, perhaps it was overpainted at some point and then the paint was removed. This might account for the condition of the decals. Is there any indication that this might be the case? Any residual paint? Just a thought.. Regards, Mike
