Gentlemen,
I would like to buy this Forestry frog and knot from a friend. The condition is E++ and I would like to offer the seller a fair price for it. What do you think would be a fair retail value for the whole set ?
I've asked a very knowledgeable collector and he told me that a fair price would be $ 400, however, the seller feels that it is worth a lot more. Would appreciate any opinions.
Thanks

Patrice, if you are lucky you can get frogs for around $100 from ebay etc. The knot- $50 and up. (Again, if you are lucky and know what to look for.) $400 is a fair price- not nutty-dealer high retail and not rip-off-grandma low.

If i was getting this set maybe $400 would be the top price i would pay>>again perhaps if i would be selling it the asking price could be higher LOL>>>I personally think this knot cost about $100 -150 top price and the frog can be about 200-250 so very simple math $350-400 very fair price
ALWAYS BUYING ITALIAN/ FASCIST MILITARIA > AND SOVIET DAGGERS
