Did anyone see this?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=6614621439
A very unusual distributor. I had the high bid when the auction was ended early by the seller. My guess is that someone offered them what they thought was a good price to end it early. If so, this really p i $ $ e s me off!

Hi Denny,

I was watching this one too, if only to see how it played out. I was curious to see what type of silly number got put up in the end, especially with such an unusual mark. K. Negele is a rare distributor indeed, I think I've seen only two others. Jack Schrader of the BCN had the first one I saw, I got lucky and got the second.

I didn't even realize the piece had a reserve, I saw the going price jump from $20 something to $124 and nearly fell off the chair Smile

Denny, are you saying I've got a mark you're missing?

Billy, you've got lots of things I don't have. (what is your address and when are you not at home?) Wink
I missed a Geco on eBay also. It went for something in the $250 neighborhood.

p.s. Jack Schrader has everything!!

Billy G. & Denny Gaither:
Sorry to disapoint you guys BUT, I do not have everything!
And I'm glad I don't...it would be the end of me if I thought there was nothing new out there to find.
It's one of the few things I enjoy almost better'n life itself.
Good threads from you guys and I read them daily.
Thanks,
Jack

Jack,

Many thanks for the kind words. I had thought years ago that I'd have to offer you my eye teeth to get that Negele from you Smile

I know these things were made by the hundreds, if not thousands, but in years of looking to only see a scant few by any given maker/distributor, really makes one think. I've never seen this mark on anything else either, I'm presuming they were a fire equipment distributor.
