Hi Gents, I`m not a big poster on this Forum, but I tune in every day to read & admire all what goes on in this fascinating hobby, But got wondering about the following ?? Surely from the late 20`s through to the end of the war, the gentlemen mentioned above must have had many uniforms?? My question is, did any survive and were are they Kevin

Hi Kevin, welcome... There are numerous high level attributed uniform tunics. I know of two Hitler tunics. One owned by the Moscow military Museum, and one privately owned. I've heard of just one attributed Himmler tunic. And last year I believe that there was a Sepp Detrich leather mantel on display at SOS or Max...

Macki, Between summer/winter types, formal/dress/normal types, and the fact that their adjudants made sure there always was a spare ready in case of accident, there is no doubt that the luminaries had many uniforms. Hermann Goring had many, many, many uniforms. The challenge is similar to Knights Crosses and other very valuable relics: There are probably three times as many today as were originally issued Dave
