Hi gents I have been offerred a large platter size wooden Luftwaffe award plate. It is very well done with 12 or so intricately painted fighter squadron shields. The reverse has the name and dedication in gothic script. It is very impressive. Does anyone know a ballpark value for such an item?(without knowing the dimensions and specifics of the sqaudrons and the dedication) Thanks and cheers, Ryan

I do not think anyone can give you an 'ballpark' without the particulars.
Some squadrons are infinately more attractive to a collector/historian.
The dedication and/or name could be to a KC recipient...which would really effect value.

Hi I unfortunately do not have that information as it was offerred to me at a local military show by an elderly German chap( not old enough to be a veteran though, perhaps 71) I just wanted a ballpark figure/guess assuming that the squadrons were nothing fancy nor the recipient and take it from there. He wants $350.00 US. Any estimates would be helpful as I like it but do not want to overpay. Thanks Knorr, cheers, Ryan
