Sorry I posted this on the wrong place,(imperial awards), can someone move it to the right place if there is one about WWII German awards?
Please, any opinion on the cross?

No prob ...I saw one very interesting EK1 ..a 1957 pattern AND L/11 marked. Deumer survived the War and apparently had a supply of parts leftover ..so , when they first produced the 57 model, they were using original WW2 parts that were still marked L/11 ..I've been keeping my eyes open for an example ..maybe someday

Hi Mike!
But your opinion is that the one I posted is an original WWII period, right? I hope.

I have no problem with it ...even if it wasn't marked and not even looking at the front .. you could ID it as a Deumer because of the pin ..Companies had certain "traits" or fingerprints .. Zimmerman (#20)commonly used a "slab" pin ...Deumer used a pin that was not as curved near the top ...the edges were straighter close to the hinge. Some traits changed and make it harder or need a little more digging to ID the maker since , some did use different hardware and MM's along the way. If you do a search for L/11 and #20 EK1's and compare the pins, you'll see what I mean If you're not happy with it and want a fake one instead ...I'll find a Floch for you and , I'll trade ya IMO ,It's a nice original one Fernando
