Here is mine. Literally. Vintage mid 1964. Ordnance Guided Missile School at the Redstone Arsenal in Alabama. We had a company commander or platoon leader who had these made up so we could wear them while marching off to classes. We felt like dummies since everyone else wore GI baseball caps. Anyway, said officer rotated and the new one said "hang on to them but don't wear them". 44 years later, I still got it

Looks nearly new. I'll show you my brain bucket, from my collection, not personally worn, of course. Dave, look at the last 2 images of the liner. Perhaps you or someone else can identify the "HORN" patch on the left side.

Here is a liner I vet bought with a battalion flag I have, the guy was a Lt. Col in the 50s and was a Bn Commader, it's a WW2 liner too.
