Can I please get some input on this dagger by Klass? I was told that it's a rare variant because of the grip. The crossguard and blade look late war production? Value? Thanks

That looks like a beauty, the wire-wrapped grip is far from common and the majority of daggers I have seen with this addition have been by Klaas, the grip itself is gorgeous with the imperfections and has the appearance of amber, I have a similar one on a luft. If you check the scabbard bands you should find the addition of * asterisks to finish the seam which was unique from this company. Value is in the eye of the beholder but certainly more than a standard EXC heer in my opinion, especially in that condition. V.Nice

It looks like the typical Klass TM on a nickel plated blade, no problem there .

Anyone else beside "DEGENS" can comment on this dagger? Is it a keeper or not? Thanks

This is the first army I have seen using the Luft style "springy" wire. It interests me more becouse Klass didnt use this type on there luft 2nd daggers! I wonder why they would order this type just for a few armies? Wouldnt they just use the twisted aluminum wire as on there lufts? Paul Hogle "Klass Man",what do you think? Kevin.
It's ALL in the DETAILS!!.......

I've seen this wire on a Klaas before. Those little spots in the grip make it all the better, for me.
As far as wire grips, I've seen several makers, but I've only believed in Klaas, and maybe one Eickhorn that I saw on here I believe.
Great dagger.
