I have some helmets I need help identifying. What are the specific angles and areas of focus that are generally of interest/needed when shooting and posting pics for experienced eyes (in this forum) to get what they need to see? Please advise, so I can do my best to get shots needed...with may thanks in advance for your input.
Anyone know of someone in SoCal area qualified/able to appraise a number of helmets? References greatly appreciated!

I can't help you with SoCal appraisers but as for photos... Take pics outside in natural light if possible.Get good exterior shots from both sides, front, and the rear. Get clear close ups using the macro feature on your camera of decals if any are present. Clear close ups of the stampings in the skirt. Get an overall shot of the liner and close ups of any markings or writing that may be present. If possible try to get a close up of the siz/mfg.markings on the liner's outer band. Close ups of the chin strap buckle and any stampings on the leather. I think that is about it. Do not alter the helmet in any way. Definately do not remove the liner or fool with the split pins. We look forward to seeing what you have. Best regards, Mike
