Gents,
I bought this helmet about 3 weeks ago. But only today did I get helmet and camera together. I had a good feeling when I bought this and I even suspected for a while that it might be an SS camo. However, I cannot make out any decals under the paint. I think it is a late war helmet because "Q66" is at the back of the skirt and so it may never have had decals. (I still cannot make out the date on the liner as it is too tight.)

Anyway, while not a screamer, it looks great in the sun.
John

Very nice piece!
I have seen several similar, but usually with brighter yellows. This one looks much better to me from a purely practical point of view, as it is really a good camoflage job. Congratulations.

Hello John

True with those pictures one can't tell for sure it looks good but I sure have a good feeling with this camo. Do you have a liner picture? What colors does it have? Dark green, light green, black, tan??

(btw John did you thought about me? Smile )

This proves, once again that SOME OF US, must remain open minded about camo color and patturn variations.
