really dont know what to say about the glass...made in France? for German soldiers as souvenirs perhaps...all depends on the price...for less than $20 a nice converstion piece...nazi fakes that were made for the GI market and sold for $5 ten years ago bring between $50 and $80. You know the one I am talking about...been discussed numerous times...but this "France" glass is something I have not seen...nice keepsake as long as it is cheap...BTW...the french oplympic team marched into the Olympia Stadium in 1936 showing Hitler the Nazi salute...so there you are...bet after the war you could not give that glass away...your SteinMeister...Roland.

Just noticed...the head of the eagle is turned the wrong way...usually faces to the left
