I recently purchased a couple of action figures off eBay which i've been hoping to buy for quite some time. However, typically the cost on one of these figures is just too much. I'm not willing to spend $100 or $150 on a single action figure. Recently, this guy came up with a lower starting bid. Surprisingly, there was no competition and I was able to purchase him at my starting bid of $40. He is from Dragon/Cyber Hobby and is one of thier limited eidtion "Parade Duty" figures called "Major Von Falkenburg". The other figure is a Luftwaffe NCO who came complete with his German Shep. "Schnapps", a can of sardines, 2 bottles of booze, a pack of cigs, and 3 loose smokes. He too is from Dragon/Cyber Hobby.
The only other figures i've purchased in the past are from In the Past Toys. I had purchased the entire line of thier Field Marshal series, which totals 6 figures. I to was able to puchase these guys for decent prices. They are now out of production and are selling for about $75 on average, more for the 1st series figures.
Anyway, the quality of the Cyber Hobby figures is vastly superior to that of the ITPT figures. The detail on these guys is incredible. The Walther pistol which comes with the NCO actually has mags which are removeable from the magazine well, and the slide actually moves back and forth. the details on the uniform, medals, etc. are spot on. I'm absolutely amazed. As such, I intend to purchase a few more from this series.
Here's a few photos to illustrate the details.
Oh yea...had to put a cig in the dogs mouth since it opens and closes.

The ITPT field marshals for comparison. They are standing around a table discussing battle plans swigging wine.
The quality and detail is good, but just not where the detail is on the Dragon/Cyber Hobby figures.
