I`m desperately looking for the SS M33/36 grip insert (runes). I have a chance to buy really nice dagger with missing SS insert. If I will not find the runes, I´ll let it go Frown

777,
Don't pass on the dagger because it's missing a insert, if everything else is in good shape get it while the price is good. I got lucky and bought a insert off of eban, it was originaly bought from Johnson awhile back the seller had proof. It had no post but i didn't need one the original post was still in the grip, the insert fit like it was made for the grip. They are out their just have to keep looking.
Good luck!
Eric

Someone just had a pin for sale and said it was the same size as a dagger insert and could be used as such. Wish I could remember where or if it sold or what. It could've been on our For Sale Forum, not sure Frown JohnJ

I bought the SS stick pin, but it's larger than the grip inserts. It's actually got an SS number stamped into the back. There are original stick pins that are the same size though...
Maybe at the SOS! Good Luck, John
