Hello all, I don't post much in the US section but I have a couple of items that I hope someone can identify for me. I have enclosed a picture of said items for viewing. In addition to a few buttons there was a metal disc of some sort, which may or may not be military in nature. Any help regarding these items is appreciated. Thanks Duzig(Bill)

The buttons are Civil War era Federal Union "Infantry" unit buttons. Not all that rare but very nice to find. You also see "A" for Artillery and "C" for Cavalry.
No idea on the insignia plate though.
