My favourite maker & IMO the best. Beautiful heer that is in outstanding condition. they don`t come any better than that. Nice!!

that is a damn fine army my riend, in my experience at this years max super armys were drying up. I believe yours to be there mid period maker's mark. but very early mid period, as the inital production were brass based and had just the scales maker mark, nice catch!!!

Indeed Roy, this is the 2nd trademark between late 35 & 36. It is all silver over the top of brass, and I would imagine with the tapered tang.

JR, I would bet this is the coveted "Eisenkopf" Alcoso! Hilt fittings made with iron or steel!I have one allmost identicle! Check the fittings with a magnet,bet it sticks! Mine has a early tapered tang blade in great shape like yours. Welcome to the club! Kevin.

Just remembered I have one, please see the link, it was my very first Heer and you enligthed me on the "Eisenkopf" fittings, thanks mate !!
