Hello Folks...Does anyone here happen to have a OSS USMC wing from WW2,not a photo but the original patch? Here is the link :http://www.militarymuseum.org/Ortiz.html
I have a chance to buy an original one from a 84 year old Marine Lt Col in Ca. Do not have any idea how much is a fair amount?? he is asking $500 dollars for it. I have seen only one of these before in Quanico Va. I do have photos of it along with other items (3 other items) he has for sale.
Thanks If someone can post the photos, if there is an interest...I will send them
Regards Sepp

I own a sf patch. I got it with two others. I sold the 2nd best one 3 years ago for 1600. The worst one I sold right after that one for 900. Since I found my camera Ill take pics of it.

AJ, Thanks for the link...The more I look into these wings...I'll tell you, I have no way of knowing which ones are real or fake?? I wrote the person selling on E bay if he would mind sending me a photo of the back...But heck he only wants 20 dollars for his....But the one I'm being offered is 500 Dollars....It sure looks from the front very close to the one I am being offered....What a mine field, any thoughts??
Regards Sepp

Sepp, it appears the same wings we just posted over at the US. Militaria forum and were given the thumbs down by Bill Scott. if Scotty says they are bad, listen to him. He's the best.

Dwight...Thanks for the reply... I posted them there just to get more feed back on them. I also got 7 or 8 PM's from different folks there "all said they would not touch them with a 10 foot pole"....Like I said in the post at USM...I want to believe the seller just does not know that they are not Original. Again Dwight Thanks
Seep
