Your luftwaffe is a classic eickhorn and in lovely condition with gilt remaining. I had one and my great regret was selling it. The heer dagger is not fitted with an Eickhorn produced cross guard but a generic type used by many producers that did not make their own fittings. Such things are seen from time to time and probably a result of a materials shortage at the time it was manufactured.
