Please give me some advice on this Eickhorn marked SS dagger, good or repro? I'm not very familiar with this model. Thanks in advance.

Firstly i am no expert but the dagger you have shown looks ok to, there seems to be a gap at the top crossguard to grip fit but that seems to be the norm with eikhorn ss daggers apart from that i see no red flags but i am sure one of the more knowledgable members will be able to tell you more Regards Adam

Run away!! Blade is in my opinion a complete fake. Grip does not look good too...
Best regards,

The blade is a reproduction from what I see. The trademark is too far from the crossguard, the crossgrain marks are incorrect, and the motto poorly etched.
As for the rest, I would have to examine it closer to say much.

If you have this dagger in your possession would you please disassemble it and take photos of the inside of the crossguards and any markings on the tang? There may be something for all of us to learn here. Jim

Brown SA grip stained black or sth.??? Besides of all red flags mentioned by others, shape of the grip doesn't look like early Eickhorn. Lack of Roman numeral on the crossguard is not a good sign either. Too many bad signs, but still something to learn from if one wants to study fakes.

Thanks for the opinions,I'll pass it, since the first look I didn't like the eickhorn logo, looks poorly done.
