The whole dagger looks untouched and original.

Never saw a dealer cause you wouldn't have gotten that wonderful scarce teardrop leather hanger with it. Razz

Hi Great dagger...don't think that anyone is questioning the authenticity of the paint but perhaps commenting on the condition? I think that the condition of the paint is great and I also like the age and spidering...great dagger and a fantastic teardrop as well as mentioned...congrats!!!! Ryan

a SUPER ss 36 in untouched condition,the leather hanger is very scarce! i love the daggers in this condition,CONGRATULATIONS a TOP dagger!!if you can send other good photos of the blade?

Correct. I don't doubt the paint is original, just not in the nice condition the rest of the exterior is. Not a great detraction, though.
