I have 2 collar tabs. One is of the Dachau style which is 1 1/2 inches wide by 2 inches long. The other is 1 3/8 wide by 2 3/4 long. Was there a reason for the differnt sizes or are they just by different makers. Any information would be helpful. Thanks, Rocky

Here are the pics. The first one is of the front and back of the Dachau type. The second one is the longer and narrower tab. Any help will be appreciated.

Both tabs on the front side appear bigger than the back side because I took close up shots of them.

I don't think the second one is for SS. Could be anything - perhaps some unfinished auxiliary or para-military unit.

The first tab looks correct, and is more the shape of an SS tab than an SA tab, which is longer horizontally than SS. The SECOND tab is not SA OR SS.
