I recently saw a clip of him reviewing troops with Mussolini, in which he is clearly wearing one.

On his one and only trip to his "Buddy" Musso,
he was presented with the Italian equivelant of
the "Honor Dagger" and is in fact pictured somwhere inspecting an Italian Honor Guard wearing it.
There are no period pics of him wearing any
German version TMK.
