Here's something you don't see too often, a Erbhof sign that was mounted on a farm gate showing that a farm was of Aryan heritage and complied with the Erbhof law of hereditary.

Erich,
I've only seen these surface now and then, it should fit in nicely with your collection.
Any new Allach or other porcelain lately?
Best!
Bill

Hi Bill, I think these signs are quite unique and yes, it will go well with my my other pieces. The only other thing I just picked up is a NS Bread Plate that I posted in my wall tile thread. Best, Erich

I saw one at a show here that was quite rusty, and had obviously been in the ground for a while.
It was claimed to be a sign from an SS barracks, but the seller refused to listen to any other explanation.
I believe he was asking around $200.00 for it.

Doug, don't you just love sellers that have done no research or have no idea on an item that they're selling and just wing it?

Great artifact Erich. What a display item.
Were these government issued or privately made and is there any documentation that you know of where something like this is mentioned?

Dean, this was an SS program/law for Ethnic German farmers to pass their farms down to their oldest son as long as he could trace his Aryan ancestry back to 1800. Yes, these plaques were documented and government supplied. Best, Erich
