Dutch,

There are different versions, with the first being the most expensive. Decide which version you want. After that use Google.

I'm with Dave. You have to know what version you want first, then shop.
The first versions are going up at a pace. f you are thinking about getting two, I would advise to bundle the money into a first version. I have a few 2nd versions, and every time I look at one I only think of a first version. CONDITION, CONDITION, CONDITION. Must have a great sheath . Good luck on the hunt, there are a lot of them out there.

For now, I would go for a 2nd model for me, and a third model for my Buddie.
That is why I need two. Sorry don't need Want!
Are there a lot of post war items trying to pass as a war time item?
Thanks ED, Dave.

Maybe try a search here!.. There used to be a good topic on here about them.. Could be very old then they would not be here..... At one time Vern had said he has all the old topics from the forum from years ago. That he could put them on as a 'read only' type thing. Still, that would be great...........................

OK, great. I am doing some research.
First models are pricey!!!
I'll have to sell one of my Daggers to get even a second or third design.!!

I realize the dilemma you are going through. Been there done that. Yes, the early ones are pricey, as are all of the later ones in collectable condition.
Check out Roy Shadbolt's site, just type Fairbairn Sykes fighting knives in. You will find some VERY nice ones in the $650 to $800 range.
What kind of daggers are you thinking about selling??? I might be interested.

Can you get some pictures and prices of the two for sale??
I just passed on a second at the Tennessee show for $650, price was OK, but the condition of blade and sheath were not.
