Gentlemen, I would be grateful if some experts in chained SS daggers could take a look and let me know if this piece looks sound. I know pics are not optimal but hope good enough to give green light. Thanks.

No Green light to give here which is more of a Red Light.....first off ...the community here would need to see what has been covered over by the white block outs over key areas to determine further authenticity and from what I can see from the Wotans knot which is mismatched with the chain assembly.
The Knot is a later production period attached to what appears to be an early production period example. Uncover all those white blocks ...but until then ....this dagger is parted together. If these are all the photos that can be provided..then for you ...just leave the dagger where you found it.
