I have researched my knife the best I could and it seems to be a rare maker Max Weyersberg Any comments welcome as far as value I have it for sale on Gunbroker Thanks

Listed on page 557, "German Knife and Sword Makers, 1850-1945", (J. Anthony Carter).

Max Weyersberg, RZM number M7/12, founded C. 1920 and registered on 6th July 1933.

They made swords and daggers durind the 3rd Reich.

Trading as "Weyersburg & Sohn" after the end of the second World War, the business was closed on the 12th of March 1956.

I also think this knife would be of interest to many. But, I know little about HJ knives. I have two. There is not enough difference in the HJ's to tickle my fancy.
But I would expect at $600 for it to go, but condition is such a factor now-a-days.

That is an early original HJ-knife in worn condition, but all complete.

Max Weyersberg made plenty of HJ-knifes, but these early ones are tough to find.
