My references say it's a Prussian Navy dagger portapee.

Yes, its an Imperial Navy knot. With that large ball it could be a sword knot rather than a dagger knot.

Yes, its an Imperial Navy knot. With that large ball it could be a sword knot rather than a dagger knot.
Gary I was just noticing what Gary mentioned about the bulb size being over 4". Probably an Imperial Navy sword knot.
