Hi folks,
Gaspare posted a dodgy-looking SA ring a few days ago, so I thought I would show you my SA rings. Here is the first one.
I have had this for many years. Apologies for the poor quality of the hallmarks photo. The silver content mark is 800. Next to that are two letters, the first one being an 'S'. The second letter is too worn to discern. The third mark is a triangle with something inside but, again, it's too worn for me to make it out. I reckon this is a prewar ring, early 30s, perhaps even 20s.
Cheers,
Stephen

Could be Evgeniy...

- You mention some hallmarks in there. Try posting a clear photo,,someone might recognize them...

The construction is multi piece and took some talent! It looks like a dagger handle button , don't think that would be done wartime. Could be old ring a vet had made up...

- Is the black enamel?

Thanks, Gaspare. I tried to show the hallmarks in the last photo above. The silver content mark is 800. There are also two letters, the first one being an 'S'. The second letter is too worn to discern. The third mark is a triangle with something inside but also it's too worn for me to make it out.

The ring is indeed multi piece but you're right: the SA motif is about the right size for a dagger, or maybe a pin. Who knows?

I don‘t think the black is enamel. It is no longer shiny and it's not hard enough to be enamel. Either way, it's a cool ring and it is pretty old.

I would hold on to it for the constructions merits itself! The ring itself is old,,,the cartouche is postwar. But like you said,,its a cool ring..
