Gorilla my dreams!
- I've never seen one with any type of hallmarks.... With these,,you want to look for their color.. This has it perfectly.. You want to see the teeth detail, skull fracture lines on head.... Don't see any problems with it.. A nice addition to anyone's ring collection,,,,Good catch!

Very nice indeed. I have one of those bad boys too. I wonder why they're called gorilla skulls.

I have a few myself; I have heard that the nickname has to do mostly with its appearance, sloping forehead, prominent brow, deep set and rounded eyes- presumably appearing more like a great apes thick skull than a humans.

I think I read about the nickname 30 or 40 pages back in this forum. Looks more Neanderthal too me. 😉 Either way, I like it.

Looks like a regular human skull to me, unlike other Third Reich ring patterns which more often are skulls quite simplistic in design. Like skulls a child might draw. Below is a gorilla skull. Quite different from a human. OK, folks: so much for today's lesson in comparative anatomy!

Very nice the Gorilla rings ! The rings have these pronounced eyesockets in common with a gorilla. Thanks for posting here. Stephen, thanks for today's lesson in comparative anatomy! I think we could use this real skull on your picture, as a good model for a préwar bikerring (little joke)
