So i recently purchased a Swedish general's ring. It has been used as a wax seal stamp. I really like the ring, should I remove the wax or keep it as it is? What you guys think? Would it be to destroy history / future evidence?

Mahler,,,,are you sure its old wax?,,probably is..
That is a nice looking ring!. I'd leave it as found.. I agree with you guys,,thats history in there,,and it won't harm the ring any.. Good catch!
Any engraving in the inner band? or hallmarks? Is it a big size?

I would leave it. It won‘t do any harm to the ring and it's part of its story. Cool ring too.
