Looking for help with this frog and knot including what the retail value is, I'm thinking it has to do with fire/police with the crimson insert, the frog is very big, much bigger than a standard bayonet frog, no visible markings.

The knot is an officer grade knot for a fire bayonet or sword, depending on size. This looks appropriate for the bayonet. Black patent leather frog would also be appropriate for such a blade althoigh the size of this one at the bottom makes me think it might be for a larger proportioned bayonet. I still say it’s fine for the Feuerwehr item though.
