A copper brooch, with a sunwheel that looks simular to the Ost-Volk badge. The wheel turns the other way as the wheel on the badge .
What is your opinion about this?

yeah,, you can not get any closer than that design to the medal..
Looks like a really nice authentic piece.. Ostvolk related? not sure but could be.. Many women were sent to Germany etc. as household servants,, nannys,, farm workers, etc. Maybe something for them [?]... Maybe a member will turn up a period photo of same design..
