Photo Credit: The German Military FundForum.
Seems its still out there. These photos everything looks authentic.. Another sites member was lucky to find this hoard.. They are items I've seen before and advertised before.. Wondering if anyone has info or a problem with the pieces.. Also looks like a unfinished ring at top. Since its enameled already it is probably a tie clip/pin..
Of interest to me the group shot [red arrow]. It shows a ring at bottom ready to go. Probably sold just like this , a few stiches on a piece of cardboard. No box of anything.
I've always heard most rings were sold without a box. Something maybe you'd have to pay extra for upon pickup or asked for[?] Even the Honor Ring was supposedly given in a lowly small bag. Their famous box something paid for? What about field deliveries? There are some things we'll never know..
Nice pieces here. Wouldn't mind any one of them.. Enjoy.
