The ring has a seam and no marks. The black looks like niello . The front portrait is covered with celluloid and has 4 little gold? squares around…

So it has the celluloid to protect photo on front. Can the photo be removed from behind?

Never saw in Russia, rings like this , IMO not Russia ring, not in our tradition
But I saw the same in Spain tradition
