Long time ago, I bought this ring with box from a dealer.
Is the box ww2 period? Are there pictures that this ring had this type of box ? Perhaps I ask much, but maybe someone can help me.

There were many types... You can play around and try and lift the inner bed and inside top to have a look around,,,but I wouldn't...
* It certainly looks like a period box..
