The dagger looks very nice.
I have never seen a blade that comes to a point like this at the threads.
I know the Heer and Luft blades do not.
Is this a WW1 blade? Or do the Kreigs blades have this pointed blade at threads?

I had a Navy many years ago that was an earlier model that had received a new swastika pommel. It had a pointed tang. It is the grip that I cannot explain.

So possible when it was upgraded to a second model, they had a upgrade grip also?????
It sure is a sweet looking grip. Kind of too nice for a fake.

That ray skin grip looks nice and is nicely done, very unique. Im very curious what lies underneath the ray skin?

I suspect that you would find hardwood beneath the ray skin. That is what I have seen on damaged swords from time to time.

As you say, nicely done. Not what you would expect to see on something put together with intent to deceive.

The other parts look good. Does anyone recognize the pommel as that of a known maker ?

Hello gentlemen,
in my opinion it is a part dagger. The pommel appears to be a WKC, as does the scabbard. The crossguard seems to be from Höller. Bumper leather is probably homemade.
The portepee looks to be a late one and is ok.
Best regards,
Oleg.

There is more to this, in my opinion, than just a put-together parts dagger.

fisher - What does the blade look like? and, if possible, can you say who is selling it and the price (?)

Hi fisher,
just my opinion, this dagger would be not for my collection.
Best,
Oleg.
