Bought this photo recently on a chance the ring would be in focus enough to identify....
Well this rarely happens , thats why a period in wear photo is so rare..
anyway
Here we have a Luft. decorated Flak officer... Any opinions on what that ring could be? I kind of see [want to see!] a Flak gun. But nothing really identifiable..........

Nice photograph you got there. Is that mirror image? Where is his wedding ring? It sure looks like a FLAK ring he's wearing.

no, not a mirror image. Breast eagle on correct side,, dagger, awards,,, Flak rating on correct side also etc.

I cleared it up a bit,,,no other ring visible,,, 'Please correction if wrong',,but pretty sure Germans wore them on right hand...

Hello
Possible ring finger change just for the photo?
To show the Flak ring over the wedding ring??

Hi Gaspare,
You are correct. Most Germans wear their wedding on the fourth finger of their right hand.
Cheers,
Stephen

@Gaspare

You're right, I just thought since it's a wedding picture then maybe one would show off his wedding ring :)
