Help on these items please. Bought in Munich in the early 50's.Can with HJ buckel that was original and a few other pieces also original. It would seem they were some sort of display. The scull, of which there were 2, are cupal and unmarked.

That is a fascinating skull you have there. It is not a known original, but I am intrigued by the fact that you say you bought it in the early 50's.

I did not buy them then, it was the man who has died and these pieces were in estate. There are two of the sculls, both identical. They are cupal, extreemly well stamped. They have a little hard sedenent in places, as if attached to a dispay board. There was also a very early SS Swastika pin.

The TK cufftitle appears to be a fake.

The cuff band is indeed an interesting piece. It is of the same material as the normal band, but with 6 silver strands as appossed to the accepted 7. However I am informed the 6 type is also original. One point of interest is the second T in lower case is formed in a very similar designe to an elongated curved dagger. The paper lable also seems to be correct. However, I must say these things are outside my knolledge base, they give the impression of being original. The sculls are extreemly well pressed and finished and show the patina that is in line with metal objects produced before the war. The other items with them are without question original. History, purchased in Munich in 1950, by a British man. What he was doing is unknown. These were together as souviners, on his death the widow parted with them and other items to a clearance person. He ad a friend who a Police officer who collects medals. The police officer in true style took full historical notes.

Chris.
The cuff title is certainly a repro............as is the RZM tag attached to it. The 5-digit number and form of the runes are typical of this type of copy tag. Personally, I'm not keen on the skulls either. The sports vest badge is OK.

Robin, thank you, your opinion in these matters is greatly valued ans appreciated. As said cloth is not my province, as to the sculls, as a metal man, I would give them a real possibility. Again my thanks.
