hope this e mail finds you n family doing well im still hanging in there in my personel opinion i doubt if this has anything to do with german manufacturing or third reich i will take a shot as to what i think it is american tie pin for merchant marine guys maybe some one here has a better opinion but thats what i think thanks stay well meine friend god bless andy

I know you found it in Europe,,,but those guys were everywhere!

The pin doesn't look German,,the anchor is really nice quality.. I think Andy nailed it,,Merchant Marine..

I don't think it is either one. Look at the rope.

The crest of various navies, merchant marines, etc are very detail conscious about that detail. Ask a Marine
