I've had this for many years.. Just re found it after it missing a few years.. So ,,what you guys think??

Steel blade,,AL handle.

Cool thing and stamps are good?
Just 'Totenkof' good and SS bad?
Or vice versa?

OR,, wire wheel, sharpen and use in garden??

Hello Gaspare, there are some really crazy items around that are totally period. Saying this I cannot decide what to think about this butter knife. The font of the letters is not common for such markings. If there is nowhere a comparable one I personally would hesitate to think it is period but would not damage it but wait until perhaps something does surface.
Once have had this sauce boat - but I did know the origin what was doubtless.
Regards,

Thats well marked and quality looking.. I like it.. Hey if its got the pedigree/provanance and you like it,,why not!

I've had this knife for over 20 years , I know thats not long. I probably got it in a lot that had a ring wink

With the AL handle it would have to be a early piece..

I do like the way the Totenkopf looks,,,but not really liking the SS.. Hoping someone recognizes the stampings good or bad... , ok thanks...,G.

Don't know if this is helpful or not, but I was told that there are 5 recognized makers of SS tableware and they used the following stamps -

Neoveda / Rostfrei
Original Olympia Oxydex / Rostfrei
Roneusil / Rostfrei
CFH Neoxyd / Rostfrei
Krupp Berndorf / Rostfrei

Anything else is suspect
